During a meeting Wednesday, the Schuylkill County Commissioners honored National Donate Life Month. Garvey said that currently 114,000 people are on the national transplant waiting list, and more than 5,000 men, women and children in the Gift of Life Donor Program region are awaiting a lifesaving transplant.
