Pocono Old Tyme is holding its 22nd annual show, featuring garden tractors, gas engines and belted equipment, Friday through Sunday at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert.Members will meet Thursdayat the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert. They are asked to be there at 5:30 p.m. for a short meeting, a potluck supper and show setup.At the show folks can see antique tractors on parade, watch gas engines in action; see threshing demonstrations, feed grinding, corn shelling and more.Kids can enjoy pedal tractor pulls and watch big guys pull with their tractors.Also available will be food, entertainment and a chance to win a raffle.Breakfast servedOnce again McMichaels UMC will host a breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. There is no set cost. It is by donation only.Poker RunOperation: Touch of Home's Poker run will be held Saturday, at American Legion Post 927, Route 209 and Fairgrounds Road in Gilbert. It will include a children's chat.Legion RidersThe American Legion Riders have its monthly meeting at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the American Legion Post 927, Route 209 and Fairgrounds Road, Gilbert.Special celebrationOn Sunday, there will be a feast day of celebration at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church dedicated to Our Lady Queen of Peace.The celebration and procession of Our Lady will take place immediately following the 11 a.m. Mass.Kunkletown VBSSt. Matthew's UCC in Kunkletown will hold Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday in the church grove. The classes will run from 9 a.m. until noon.As inventors and creators, class members sing, play games, explore the Bible, do experiments, and make crafts and memories. The theme is Maker Fun Factory VBS. The week also includes an optional afternoon field trip for kids and families.VBS is for kids age 4 and up. The ARC explains that a Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor.
