State police at Fern Ridge reported citing two individuals for dog law violations in separate incidents in Monroe County.

On March 20, about 6:05 p.m. a pit bull dog owned by Robert Holler, 21, of Saylorsburg, entered the property of Scott Olsen, 48, of 2774 Aspen Way, Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, and attacked Olsen's Bullmastiff dog.The victim's dog sustained a laceration to its ear which required medical care, troopers said. Holler was cited for dog law violation.On March 11, about 6:35 p.m. Jenna Marie Sargent, 23, of Stroudsburg, was jogging in the vicinity of 2017 Mountain Road, in Jackson Township, Monroe County, when a dog owned by Shannon Marie VanHorn, 36, of that address, bit Sargent on the hip.VanHorn was cited for a dog law violation, troopers said.
