Two drivers are facing driving under the influence (DUI) charges in separate incidents involving state police at Lehighton.

On Saturday, April 26, about 5:17 p.m. troopers responded to the area of 5122 Mountain View Drive, in Eldred Township, Monroe County, for a report of a suspicious vehicle. At the scene, and following a further investigation, troopers said Jesse Herold, 31, of Tobyhanna, was arrested and charged with DUI.On Sunday, April 27, about 8:02 p.m. Heather Rex, 28, of Lehighton, was stopped at the intersection of First and Iron streets, Lehighton. She was arrested for DUI and also for driving while under suspension. The DUI count is pending test results, troopers noted.
