A Lansford man pleaded guilty on Carbon County court last week to two counts of unauthorized use of an automobile.

Jose Santa Karnish, 27, entered the pleas before Judge Steven R. Serfass. He was charged for an incident on Nov. 25, 2015, when he was stopped by Lansford police for using the vehicle of Debra Radocha without her permission. The second arrest occurred on Nov. 26, 2015, along Packer Hill in Jim Thorpe, where he was involved in an accident causing damages and using Radocha's vehicle again without permission. He also pleaded to driving without a license in the case.Serfass deferred sentencing because a restitution hearing must be held concerning the Jim Thorpe incident. In that incident, the victim requested damages of over $25,000.
