Golden AgersThe April 25 meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers was attended by 36 members. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of "God Bless America." President Irene Hudasky gave information on future trips and upcoming activities. A moment of silence was observed for Estelle Sverchek, the oldest member of the club, who passed away April 25.The annual Mass for 11 deceased members of the past year will be celebrated at 11 a.m. May 9 at St. Joseph RC Church in Summit Hill with the Rev. James Burdess as the celebrant. Members should be there at 10:30 a.m. to help with the singing. The public is invited to attend Mass.
