The Weatherly Halloween Parade is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Plane Street.
There is no scheduled rain date for the parade.
Sunday’s forecast is calling for rain and strong winds. A decision on whether to cancel the parade will be made Sunday morning, according to Mary Rose Minnick of the Weatherly Community Chest.
The parade will start at Our Lady of Lourdes and continue to Eurana Park, where refreshments will be served. Participants will also receive a bag of candy.
Prizes are being awarded for categories including prettiest, ugliest, group, large float, small float, funny, and preschool.
The Times News will post an update Sunday morning if the parade is canceled.
