April is known for soft spring rain showers. Umbrellas are seen everywhere. So Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Homes in Kunkletown decided to celebrate the month of April, spring showers and umbrellas in its Umbrella Art Show. Carrie Shafer, program director, says she read a quote from Pablo Picasso that says, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." It was that inner artist she wanted to tap into with the residents and they came through with bright, colorful imaginative ways and they hung in the social room for all to enjoy.
