On Saturday, April 2, four students from Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, received Catholic High School Scholarships at the Bishop's Scholar Society Awards Ceremonny held at Alvernia College, Reading.
The awards were presented by the Most Reverend John O. Barres D.D., Bishop of Allentown. These students were selected based on their academic achievement, their school, parish and community activities, leadership roles and recommendations from their principal, eighth grade teacher and their pastor.The students received $1,000 scholarships and will attend Marian High School in the fall.
