Fire companies from numerous communities responded to a dwelling fire Wednesday night in Lansford. The fire was reported at 8 p.m. on the 200 block of W. Abbott St. The initial report was a fire in the attic area of the double block dwelling. Fire companies from Lansford, Summit Hill, Coaldale and Tamaqua were dispatched to the scene.
