Palisades eliminated Palmerton from the District 11 girls soccer playoffs on Tuesday.

Palmerton-Palisades
Palisades rolled to a big first half lead and cruised to a 6-1 victory over Palmerton in the quarterfinal round of the District 11 Class 2A tournament.
The No. 2 seeded Pirates jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead.
The Bombers, who were the No. 7 seed, were able to avoid the shutout on an Izabel Ruzicka goal.
MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL
Lehighton-Blue Mtn.
Lehighton rolled to a 36-14 victory over Blue Mountain.
Cam Knappenberger ran for a pair of touchdowns to lead the Indians (6-1-1). He also ran for a two-point conversion and kicked four extra points. Hunter Crum, Devin Smith and Brendan Zimmerman all added TDs for Lehighton. Zimmerman, who also had an interception, got his touchdown came on scoop and score defensive play.
