The melting and refreezing of ice and snow are making sidewalks and roadways treacherous places to travel. Charlie "Charles" Bartusik of Mauch Chunk Street in Tamaqua makes a water canal as he chops through ice and slush outside his home to allow the melting snow and ice to flow freely into a street drain.
