A Tamaqua woman was picked up on an outstanding warrant early Thursday then transported to the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville.

Tamaqua police received a tip that Candace Louise Bylinski, 26, was at a residence on Brown Street at 12:30 a.m. Thursday.Officers went to the residence and found Bylinski, who was awaiting their arrival. She was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant issued after she failed to appear for a hearing at the county courthouse, Pottsville.She was taken into custody without incident.
