Adam Webber, center, was named president of Lansford Borough Council on Wednesday. Former council president Bob Gaughan resigned in early November. Council vice-president Mary Kruczek guided council from Gaughan's departure through Wednesday. Council members Tommy Vadyak and Rose Mary Cannon opposed Webber's nomination to the office.
