The theft of a Ruger semi-automatic handgun from the bedroom of a Lower Macungie Township home is being investigated by state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

The victim is Jesse Ryan Hoffman, 35, of 1755 Brookside Road.He told police someone took the gun between 8 p.m. Dec. 17 and 11:30 p.m. Dec. 21.The handgun is silver in color with a matte finish on it.
