Palmerton Area Historical Society will present its annual ecumenical Christmas service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at the Little White Church, Third and Columbia Ave., Palmerton. Everyone is invited to attend this excellent opportunity for getting the holiday season off to a good start. Traditional carols will be sung accompanied by Carol Thomas on the old pump organ. The Rev. Jody Neifert will deliver the message. Society members, Peter Kern and John Aulenbach, will present readings in keeping with the season. The church will be resplendent in silver and white decorations. Concluding with the singing of "Silent Night, Holy Night" by individual candlelight is a new feature to the service this year.
