A teacher at Pocono Mountain Charter School, located 1110 Carriage Lane, Tobyhanna, was injured during a fight among students.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the school at 1:47 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, for a report of a large fight with injuries. On scene officers learned that numerous students were involved in a physical altercation in a hallway at the school.During the fight a teacher, not identified by police, was knocked to the ground and injured. The teacher was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment.Charges are pending completion of the investigation, police said.
