State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of a pistol.

Troopers said a 30-year-old female from 200 White St., Apt. B, Weissport, reported a Bersa Thunder 380 ACP semiautomatic pistol, serial number E00001, was taken from her residence sometime between May 21 and 26. The gun is valued at $450.
