Jim Thorpe will hold a recruiting seminar for parents and athletes on Wednesday Aug. 21 in the high school at 6 p.m.

There will be a presentation by Rick Wire - “Guiding the College Bound Athlete” - to prepare parents and athletes for the recruiting road ahead.

The goals of the program are to show how parents and athletes to get recruited; how to become academically eligible; how to get a scholarship; how to setup college visits; and how to start as early as ninth grade.

Athletes and parents from grades eight-through-12 are welcome to attend.

All attendees will receive a free SAT/ACT prep DVD, valued at $350.

The presentation will be followed by our Meet The Olympians Night in the gymnasium.
