Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating thefts from two tree service company vehicles.

Police said tree service trucks belonging to Asplund Tree Experts, of Willow Grove, Montgomery County, and Nelson Tree Service Inc., of Franklinville, New Jersey, were broken into while parked in a lot along Route 940 at Pocono Summit and Route 839 Industrial Park Drive, Mount Pocono.Taken was tree climbing equipment including ropes, harnesses, tree climbing spikes, and Stihl chain saws. Both incidents appear to have been committed by the same people, police said.The incident was reported at 7 a.m. on Monday.
