State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary in which a Monroe County residence was entered and the criminals took a washer, dryer, kitchen cabinets and the kitchen stove.

The burglary occurred at 6380 Five Springs Road in Jackson Township. A 40-year-old female from Stroudsburg is the listed victim, according to troopers, who declined to give her name. Entry was gained by smashing the bathroom window.The break-in occurred sometime between Nov. 7 and Thursday, Nov. 11.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
