A traffic stop in McAdoo resulted in charges for a Tamaqua man on Nov. 23.
Officers on patrol stopped a vehicle for a nonoperating license plate light at 1:50 a.m.The occupants of the car included Michael Mattox, 22, and several people under the age of 21.Everyone admitted to chipping in and giving Mattox money to purchase six-packs of Corona, Coors Light, Yuengling Lager and Bud Light.Mattox was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors.One of the passengers, Jedidiah Scorzelli, 18, of Albrightsvile, was cited for disorderly conduct.
