State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 12 and 8 p.m. Dec. 19 at a home in the 100 block of Butternut Street in Eldred Township.

Police said someone forced open a locked garage door and stole a Lincoln Mig Welder, Lincoln Plasma Cutter and acetylene torches.
