A Kunkletown woman will be cited for a two-vehicle crash after turning in front of another car at noon Friday in Towamensing Township, according to state police at Lehighton.

Shanna L. Heist, 35, was turning from Berger Street to Penn Forest Road, when her 2004 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck pulled in front of a 2005 Dodge Neon driven by Elvin Mercado II, 27, of Lehighton.Heist's vehicle flipped on its passenger side and landed on an embankment.Neither driver was injured.Lehighton Ambulance, and Polk and Towamensing Township fire companies also responded to the scene.
