Tamaqua Police have cited Michael Stefanek, 46, of 442 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, following an incident in the Turkey Hill Parking lot on Feb. 10.

Officers were dispatched to the minimart, 330 E. Broad St., at 1:40 a.m. for a suspicious manwho was in the area of the air pumps, talking to himself and yelling at customers.At the scene, officers found a man, later identified as Stefanek, laying in a mound of snow. The man was unable to communicate with officers due to his inebriated condition, just mumbling the name "Joe" over and over. Due to the man's drunken condition, officers called for an ambulance, which transported him to St. Luke's Miners Hospital -Coaldale Campus.The hospital was able to identify him as Stefanek.He was cited for public drunkenness.
