A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence.

State police at Frackville said William J. Wasser, 58, of Mahanoy City, was stopped at 9:12 p.m. Sunday along Mahanoy Street in Mahanoy City. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was transported to the barracks for a breath test. The test showed he was over the legal limit of 0.08 percent.Charges were filed, troopers said.
