State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence in which nothing was apparently taken in the break-in.

Troopers said a home on Twin Pine Road, at the intersection with Walters Road, in Jackson Township, was found to be entered by the owner, who found the unoccupied residence had been entered about 2 p.m. on March 5. A lock on a garage was cut with the door partially open.The entry occurred sometime between when it was found and Jan. 15, troopers said.
