Jazmin Andrews, 19, of 130 Sixth St., Coaldale, has been cited by Coaldale Police following an EMS call last November.
Ambulance personnel and police were dispatched to Andrews' home at 11:51 p.m. Nov. 3 for a possible overdose. They found Andrews, who said a relative called for help, suspecting she had overdosed on drugs. Instead, according to Andrews, she was only deeply asleep.However, officers found a bag of unused syringes and ripped-open glassine bags in the room where they spoke with her.EMS arrived, checked Andrews and told officers there were no signs of a drug overdose, but the patient admitted using heroin about four days earlier. She refused further medical treatment.Police charged Andrews with possession of drug paraphernalia.
