A Quakake man is facing charges in connection with a one-vehicle accident on Tamanend Road in Rush Township on April 11.

Gary Young Jr., 25, was driving a Nissan along the road at 4:25 a.m. when he lost control and struck a dumpster located just off the roadway.Young was transported to St. Luke's Miners Hospital-Coaldale campus for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.Police suspected he had been drinking and asked him to submit to a blood test. He refused.Young will be charged with driving under the influence and several traffic related charges.
