More than 1,800 people in the region are still without power from Friday’s storm.

According to the PPL outage map, one person remains without power in Penn Forest Township and 1,827care out in Monroe, including 74 in Chestnuthill Township, 8 in Eldred Township and 18 in Polk Township.

Seven remain without power in Lehigh Township, Northampton County  and 100 customers are without power in Washington Township, Lehigh County.

In MetED territory, more than 600 customers are still without electricity in Ross Township.

Power is expected to be restored to most customers by 11 tonight.
