An incident in Quakake on April 28 resulted in criminal charges for Brian Gallagher, 38, of Barnesville.

Rush Township police were called to 40 W. Main St., at 9:28 a.m. and arrested Gallagher on charges of simple assault and harassment.He was arraigned before on call District Judge Christine Hale, of Frackville, who set bail at $5,000, which the defendant was able to post.
