A New York state truck driver crashed his rig on an on-ramp to Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the crash occurred about 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday in Foster Township. Troopers said Randy B. Peterson, 21, of West Henrietta, was driving a 2013 Kenworth tractor with trailer eastbound on Route 901 at an unsafe speed. He attempted to turn onto I80 on ramp to go northbound and while negotiating the ramp the rig rolled over onto its right side and came to rest on the ramp facing north.Peterson was not injured. Troopers cited him for driving a vehicle at a safe unsafe speed.
