A man was jailed on theft charge stemming from an incident in Schuylkill County that occurred in June.

State police at Frackville said Jeremy Lockwitch, no age or address given, has been charged in connection with an incident that occurred on June 11, sometime between 2 and 3 p.m. at 221 Church St., in Ryan Township. Troopers said Lockwitch entered the residence and removed a Sony 42-inch flat screen television and about $30 in loose change.Through an investigation troopers obtained an arrest warrant for Lockwitch. He was located by state police at Fern Ridge and arrested.He was arraigned by on-call District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $500 straight cash bail.
