A Monroe County man has been arrested for simple assault following a domestic incident.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers were dispatched to 6445 Laurel Drive, Tobyhanna Township, at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 17 for a reported domestic dispute. On scene the victim told police that her husband, Adam Zaktzewski, 48, had assaulted her. Officers observed injuries to the victim consistent with what she said happened.He was arrested and arraigned on the assault count and a summary offense of harassment and then released.
