A Tamaqua man, wanted in at least two jurisdictions, was taken into custody on Thursday following a traffic stop.

State police at Frackville said troopers stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation at the intersection of Tresckow Road and East Blaine Street in Kline Township about 12:20 p.m. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Anthony Napolitano, 30.A records check indicated Napolitano was wanted on an active warrant out of Carbon County. A further check revealed Rush Township police also had a warrant for his arrest. While taking Napolitano into custody on the warrants troopers found drug paraphernalia on his person.Napolitano was committed to the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville, awaiting transport to Carbon County. Troopers will file drug charges against him.
