McAdoo Police have charged Aura Santiago, 46, of Hazleton, with retail theft after an incident at the "Bearly Used" shop on Jan. 21.

Officers were dispatched to the store at 127 W. Blaine St., where they reviewed security camera footage. On the footage, a middle-age Hispanic woman is seen taking a power bank universal charger from an area near the cash register, then placing the unit in her purse.The woman was identified as Santiago, who told police she had asked the store employee for the cost of the charger and thought she had been charged for it.She was charged with retail theft.
