A Tamaqua man faces charges related to a shoplifting incident at the Family Dollar Store, 125 Center St. in Tamaqua on Feb. 10.

Michael Martin Sedlock, 28, of 71 Bowe St., entered the store after 2 p.m. and placed a compact disc and a Pepsi in his pants. He then walked past the registers on his way out. When stopped by store personnel, Sedlock removed the CD, then ran out of the store.He will be cited for retail theft.
