Two people were injured in a collision at 5:57 a.m. Tuesdayat the intersection of Orchard Road and Route 100 in Lowhill Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said Linda D. Harkness, 57, of Orefield, and Olivia J. Rohricht, 22, of Allentown, were hurt, although police said the severity of their injuries was unknown.Police said Harkness was driving a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Orchard Road when she made a left turn onto Route 100 without having proper clearance. Her vehicle was struck by a 1997 Jeep Cherokee operated by Rohricht, who was northbound on Route 100 at the time.Police said Harkness will be cited.Both vehicles were towed from the scene
