A hit-and-run driver is being sought in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the crash occurred along Interstate 81 southbound at a closed weigh station in Mahanoy Township.Troopers said the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier veered to the right while southbound onto the ramp for the weigh station. The front of the Cavalier hit the closed yellow metal gate in front of the station. The driver then stopped the vehicle and fled the scene. The incident occurred sometime between April 23 and 24.The vehicle is registered to Roy Poling of Schuylkill Haven. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
