A Jim Thorpe driver was involved in a two-vehicle crash around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday along Route 61 at Brick Hill Road in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Joann McLainwalter, 64, was southbound on 61 while Katherine R. Rogers, 20, of Orwigsburg, was stopped for a red light on Brick Hill Road. As the signal turned to green Rogers proceeded into the intersection eastbound while McLainwalter failed to stop for a red the light on 61. The front of McLainwalter's 2007 Honda CRV struck the driver's side of Rogers' 2007 Ford Focus. After impact the Focus was pushed a short distance south.Rogers sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention. Neither McLainwalter nor passenger Eric McLainwalter, 18, of Jim Thorpe, were injured. Troopers cited McLainwalter for a red light violation.
