Sometime overnight on Aug. 18 into Aug. 19, someone entered seven unlocked vehicles in the Borough of Tamaqua, stealing items ranging from a GPS unit, to change, to the vehicles' paperwork.

The thefts took place on Union, Mauch Chunk, Elm and Cherry Streets.Police urge motorists to keep their vehicles locked when they are unoccupied.Anyone with information may contact police at 570-668-5000.
