A Summit Hill man was cited by Tamaqua Police after he refused to pay for a meal he ate at the Tamaqua Diner on Sept. 21.

Michael Paul Leonzi, 28, of West Iron Street, Summit Hill, and another man went to the diner that morning, both ordering meals. Both complained about their meals and refused to pay, even after the waitress gave a discount. The men caused such a disturbance that they chased away two other customers.One of the men told officers he didn't have any money with him and that Leonzi had offered to buy his meal. He offered to go home and get money to pay his bill, which he did.Leonzi continued to refuse to pay and was cited for disorderly conduct and theft.
