A Schuylkill County caregiver faces charges for stealing credit cards from a patient.

State Police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident took place sometime between Nov. 1-9 at the home of an 80-year-old man from West Brunswick Township.Police said the incident occurred while Suzanne Strause, 38, of St. Clair, was at the victim's residence as a home caregiver.Strause at one point stole two credit cards belonging to the victim, and used them at several different locations from Nov. 1-9, for a total amount of $1,911.Video surveillance was obtained at one of the locations of Strause using the credit card. She later confessed to the crime.Criminal charges of access device fraud and identity theft have been filed.
