State police at Lehighton said a man they arrested for driving under the influence was found to be wanted in Northampton County on an outstanding warrant.

Police said they made a traffic stop of Jordan Hughes, 28, of Bangor, at 5:11 p.m. Jan. 1 at the intersection of routes 443 and 209 in Lehighton. He was arrested for DUI, which is pending the result of a blood test. He was taken to the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning.
