One of two drivers involved in a crash at 6:34 a.m. at the intersection of Keystone Boulevard and Highridge Park Road in Cass Township, Schuylkill County, has been cited.

It was one of two crashes reported by state police at Frackville.Troopers said Eric J. Herring, 25, of Mahanoy City, was southbound on Highridge Road operating a 2003 Dodge SLT and making a right turn onto Keystone Boulevard while Sean C. Tomlinson, 28, of Center Valley, Lehigh County, was westbound on Keystone operating a 2012 Honda Accord.Troopers said the Dodge slid on the ice/snow covered road and struck the Honda. No one was injured but the Honda was towed from the scene.Troopers cited Herring for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.The second crash occurred Feb. 9 about 10:45 p.m. along Route 61 in Blythe Township. Troopers said Jessica L. O'Boyle, 29, of Ashland, was driving a 2012 Ford Focus southbound at an unsafe speed when her vehicle hit an icy patch, causing her to lost control. The Ford crossed onto the west berm and struck an embankment with the front end. The Ford continued south and came to rest in the right lane facing south.O'Boyle was not injured. She was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
