Penn-Kidder Lions Club named Steven Ortiz as the October 2010 Student of the Month. Ortiz is an eighth grade student at Penn-Kidder Campus of the Jim Thorpe Area School District.
He is the son of Ovel and Maria Ortiz of Albrightsville.Each month an eighth grade student at Penn-Kidder School will receive $20 and a breakfast for them and their parents, along with a framed certificate for doing well in school.
