A Mahanoy City man has been arrested for leaving his two young children in a vehicle unattended.

Rush Township police were called to the Walmart store on Monday, Oct. 18, about 7:57 p.m. to a report of young children in a car unattended. As a result of an investigation police said Trevor Hawley, 28, is facing several charges for leaving a one-year-old and seven-year-old in the vehicle alone.
