No injuries were reported in two Schuylkill County crashes that occurred this week.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said a one vehicle crash occurred about 11:39 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17, along Rock Road (SR895), Pine Grove Township. Troopers said Jason P. Martin, 19, of Pine Grove, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier eastbound when he told officers he took his eyes off the road. The car left the road and struck a wooden chainlinked fence at 64 Rock Rd. The property owner was identified as Duane L. Brandt, 47, of that address.Troopers said Martin is facing numerous motor vehicle code violations.The second crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the intersection of state routes 183 and 443 in Wayne Township. Troopers said Duane M. Feeg, 38, of Robesonia, Berks County, and Almeda E. Keller, 77, of Orwigsburg, were both on 183 ramp leading to 443. Feeg said he waited for a truck to pass before moving onto 443 and forgot that there was another vehicle in front of him.The front of Feeg's 2008 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck struck the rear of Keller's 1999 Buick LeSabre. Damages were minor to the truck and moderate to the car, troopers said.
