Lehighton Police are investigating a missing persons report.

Jay Kershner, 43, of 223 N. First St., Lehighton, hasn't been seen since the morning hours of Oct. 15. The last place he was seen was in the 200 block of North First Street.Police said a search occurred on Friday in the area of the trestle, which spans the Lehigh River, but without success.Friends and family members have signs posted at various locations seeking information on his whereabouts.Anyone with information on where he might be, or anyone who might have seen him, is asked to call the Lehighton Police Department at (610) 377-4003.
