State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a vehicle in Monroe County.

Troopers said Shem Gurvey, 43, of Effort, reported his 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from Rocky Mountain Park North in Chestnuthill Township. The theft was reported at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3.
